About Us
We are a small and friendly bid management company, set up by our Founder, Phil Norman, who believes that many businesses are missing out on some great public sector contract opportunities because of not knowing the best way to approach the tendering process.
Our Experience
HOW WE WIN BIDS
Our Founder, Phil Norman, was previously ex Head of Procurement Category for a major Government Department and a Buyer for the NHS, setting up multimillion pound tenders, so is well placed to help clients who supply the public sector. Our Co-founder, Karl Wellstead, has 25+ years end-to-end business capture experience, gained as a Sales Director with the likes of Office Depot, Paragon and ICEYE Global. Between them they have in-depth knowledge of both the Buyer and the Supplier sides.
The Business of Bidding has been set up so that Phil and Karl can practically apply their unique joint knowledge of the public sector procurement and sales landscapes and simplify the bid process for suppliers. Over the years, between them they have helped clients win over £1 Billion worth of contracts and have achieved some of the highest bid win-rates in the industry.
